Maid Fresh – Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Services
Maid Fresh provides professional cleaning services across Victoria, specialising in:

Support cleans for vulnerable or high-need clients

Hoarding and extreme cleaning

Deceased estate and property recovery cleaning

Deep hygiene and sanitisation cleaning
-
Sensitive environment cleaning (including aged care, NDIS, and agency-directed work)

All services are carried out by trained and certified staff, following strict safety, hygiene, and confidentiality standards.

2. Health & Safety
​
Our team follows professional risk assessment procedures before and during each job.
We reserve the right to:

Decline or postpone a service if the site presents an immediate health or safety risk (biohazard, structural hazard, aggressive environment, etc.)
-
Require appropriate PPE or additional staff for high-risk tasks.
Clients or case managers must inform Maid Fresh in advance of any known hazards, health risks, or safety concerns.

3. Pricing & Quotations

Quotes are estimates based on information provided by the client or referring agency.
-
Prices may vary depending on site conditions, access, or scope of work.

Hourly rates apply for specialised and support cleans due to variable project size and risk.

Travel fees may apply for locations outside the South-Eastern Melbourne region or more than 25 km from our base.

Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated.

4. Payment Terms

Private clients: payment is due upon completion unless otherwise arranged.

Agency, government, or insurance clients: invoicing terms by agreement (typically 7–14 days).

Accepted payment methods: EFT, invoice payment link, or approved funding provider payment.

Late payments may incur an administrative fee.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes.

Less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a 50% service charge.

Bookings cancelled on arrival or after commencement of work are subject to the full service fee.

In emergency or safety-related cancellations (weather, access, etc.), Maid Fresh may reschedule without penalty.

6. Access & Property Conditions

Clients (or their representatives) must:

Provide safe and timely access to the property

Ensure utilities (power, water) are available
-
Remove or declare any hazardous materials or personal items of concern

Maid Fresh is not responsible for delays or limitations caused by unsafe, obstructed, or incomplete access.
7. Liability & Insurance

Maid Fresh holds current Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

While all care is taken, Maid Fresh is not liable for pre-existing damage, structural faults, or deterioration caused by the cleaning process on fragile or aged materials.

Any damage claims must be reported in writing within 24 hours of service completion.
8. Privacy & Confidentiality

Maid Fresh respects the privacy and dignity of all clients.
All personal and property information shared with us remains strictly confidential and is used solely for service delivery and compliance with referring agencies.
No photos, recordings, or notes are shared without written consent (except where required for compliance or safety documentation).

9. Sensitive & Agency-Managed Services
​
For cleans arranged through case managers, agencies, or service providers:

All communication, approvals, and invoicing must be through the referring organisation unless otherwise approved.

Consent forms must be signed prior to commencement for client protection and record purposes.

Maid Fresh may request a pre-visit assessment or photo documentation to ensure accurate quoting and safe preparation.

10. Travel, Equipment & Waste Disposal

All cleaning equipment, products, and PPE are provided by Maid Fresh.

Waste disposal fees may apply for large quantities, hazardous materials, or council tip fees.

Travel surcharges apply for extended distances or multi-day regional projects.
​
11. Satisfaction & Service Guarantee
​
We stand by the quality of our work.
If any aspect of our service is unsatisfactory, please contact us within 24 hours of completion so we can address it promptly.
Due to the complex nature of support and specialised cleans, results are dependent on the condition and safety of the environment.

12. Agreement

By booking a service with Maid Fresh, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
